The model we installed was one that the customer had ordered. It was the Project EV charger. This was a charger that worked with the customers single phase power and gives a power output of 7.4kW which is ideal for overnight charging for someone who uses their car daily.

This charger is easily controlled through the use of the Project EV app. This allows you to schedule your charge time. This will allow you to come home and plug your car in and then it’ll wait to charge until your scheduled time. It will also allow you to monitor how fast your car is charging and how long it will take to reach full charge.

Low Impact EV Charger Installation Kent

We installed this charger in their driveway, away from the main house. We buried the cable around the edge of the driveway and brought the cable up behind an old wall which meant that none of the cable was on show even though it was far from way from the house. This means no matter where you want your charger, we can make sure that it is neat and not an eyesore for you.

We also installed surge protection on the property to protect the other circuits in the house, so nothing gets damaged. We then installed a CT clamp on the main supply that is connected back to the EV charger which allows the charger to monitor how much power is being drawn through the house and adapt the power that the charger draws accordingly so it never affects the other electrical components in the house.
